雅思口语关于dream话题

1.Do you often have dreams at night?

Yes, I dream every night

2.Have you had a bad dream before?

I do not usually have bad dreams, but I have ones where I was running away from someone, and trying to scream for help, but my voice would not come out. That was quite scary.

3.What was the strangest dream you have had?

The strangest dream I have ever had was about my dog. She had just died, and I was very upset, and in my dream she came to me and it seemed she was trying to tell me she was ok. I felt really strange, but somehow peaceful, as I was able to accept her death better.

4.What do you usually dream about?

I usually dream the most when I am about to go on a trip, or have an exam. They are classic worry dreams, where I forget to bring my passport, or to bring a pen for the exam, and then spend so long trying to find them I miss my flight, or miss the exam. I have that kind of dream quite often.

雅思口语success话题

Describe a success in your life.

You should say:

when it was

what it was

why you chose it

how you achieved.

I guess success can vary depending on your viewpoint. Some people judge success by how much money they have, the clothes they wear or the car they drive. In that respect I maybe haven’t had a lot of success so far in my life, but I have still achieved things that I am proud of.

One such thing I can remember happened when I was an undergraduate at university, I think during my second year. We were encouraged to get involved in after-school activities and events, so I volunteered to help organise a dubbing contest that was taking place. You have probably come across dubbing if you’ve watched a foreign film and the native language has been replaced with another one over the top. The students that took part had divided themselves into groups of three or four people. They would take it in turns to go up on stage and play an English movie without the sound turned on, while they spoke the words over the top of the video.

I mainly chose to volunteer so that I could earn extra credits, or points, to go towards my degree. But it was also a good opportunity to meet some new people and it gave me something to do in my spare time.

In the end everything went off without a hitch and the night was a big success. We had rehearsed everything again and again and all the hard work paid off. I think the key to the success was everyone’s effort and teamwork, it wasn’t just a personal success, but one that I shared with a whole group of people.

雅思口语childhood memory话题

I grew up very far from most of my family so I only saw them once a year. Every summer I would go to stay with them, while my parents continued working. Although I missed my parents, Iused to really enjoy spending time with my grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles. I spent all summer there, nearly two whole months, so from time to time my cousins and I would get bored. We would ask my grandparents if they had any ideas for interesting things we could do. Sometimes they suggested going for a bike ride, sometimes into town to do some shopping. At other times, they showed us a new game to play. Then we were happy again.

One day - it must be about 12 years ago (doesn"t time fly!) - all of us got really, really bored and we kept complaining to my grandparents. They were tearing their hair out, trying to think up ideas of where we could go and what we could do. Suddenly, my granddad came up with the idea of going to a new water park that had opened that summer. I hadn"t heard about it but my cousins had, and they told me all about it. It was a park with vast numbers of different pools, some inside, some outside. There were water slides as well. And, on top of there wasnot one, but two play grounds with swings, a merry-go-round, see-saws. We were so excited.

We set off and on the way we were all singing songs and laughing. We couldn"t wait to get there. When we arrived,my cousins and I ran into the park and changed into our swimming costumes. Then we went looking for the most exciting looking pool, and we found it, one with brightly coloured tiles and slides, we jumped straight in. We played all day in the park and had a lovely lunch, sat on some benches in the sunshine.

My granddad loved a pool that was filled with spa water. It was dark brown and stank of rotten eggs. I didn"t wantto go in but he eventually convinced me. I"m pleased he did because thewater was really warm. I"d never swam in water that warm. I didn"t want to get out, despite the terrible smell.

I consider it such a happy memory because we enjoyed ourselves so much and I remember so vividly how I felt that day. But there"s more to it than just that. When I look back now, I understand how caring my grandparents were and how much they wanted us all to be happy. They wouldhave done anything to help us have a good time. Iappreciate that more now that I"m older andhave children of my own. I hope we thanked them; I can"t remember. But, anyway, they were content, I"m sure, to just watch us have an amazing time, playing and laughing in the water

So, as you can see, it was a wonderful day and is one of my favourite childhood memories.

雅思口语特别的东西话题

Describe a special thing you want to buy in the future.

You should say:

what it is

why you want to buy it

how long do you want to have it. (how long if you wanted it?)

and how to get it.

I don’t think I’m alone when I say buying an apartment is at the top of my list. I"ve had my heart set on one by the sea, in a city like Qingdao, preferably with nice views and an outside space like a balcony or veranda. At the moment I’m single, so it might start off as a bit of a bachelor pad, but it’ll need to be big enough to raise a family eventually, so I reckon ninety-five square meters or so should do the trick.

I think I’ve wanted to buy my own place ever since I moved out of home to go to university and got a taste of the independent life. It’s also part of tradition that a man should have a house before he gets married, along with a car and a good job to provide for his wife. I want to buy a flat and settle down in a city that I can see myself spending the rest of my life in and I think Qingdao really fits the bill.

I don’t like relying on my parents for money and I’m dead set on saving up the necessary funds myself. Sadly, apartments by the sea cost an arm and a leg, so if I want to realize my dream I’ll be saving up for ages, but with hard work and determination. I’m sure I can reach my goal!
